Blog metamorphosis

If you’ve visited this blog before, you will now notice that it looks different. This has everything to do with the fact that I switched blogging software. Going from Blogger to the state-of-the-art WordPress. The biggest differences are of a technical nature and take place ‘behind the screens’. Assuming you aren’t interested in a nerdy talk about the features of the technology that powers this new blog, I’ll skip that part and briefly describe some changes that are immediately visible.

The sidebar’s clutter has been reduced greatly, because the blog archives and links now have their own pages. New features include an integrated photo album, and a mailing list for those who wish to get notified by email when I post a new entry. Another wicked new function is my blog world map, which is a cool integration of Google Maps and my blog posts.
