Travel Writing
Writing down your experiences abroad is an excellent way to remember your travels by. At the same time it provides useful and fun resources for future travellers who might benefit from your writings.
This is exactly what WorldBackpackers.net is all about. I use the website myself for writing down my own travel experiences. All of this happens in several forms: articles on backpacking, destination guides, travel stories, and by posting in the backpacking forum.
In this manner I’ve published about many of my travels and places I’ve visited. For example, I recently wrote and published a travel guide to Edinburgh where I just spent a long weekend. A pretty cool city to visit by the way!
But WorldBackpackers.net is an online place for everyone to share their travel experiences. The big goal of the website is to become a diverse place where travellers can find and exchange useful info and personal experiences.
To make this happen, the contributions of others are obviously quite necessary. Hopefully the current destination guide contest will increase the submission rate…
