Those were some pictures of the past week. San Cristobal de las Casas is where Im at right now, a colourful town with little colonial houses and little plazas, cheap markets… Its very nice. The group with who Ive been travelling since Puerto Escondido is complete again. Ive already spent two nights here and was planning on slowly making my way to Guatemala and Belize from here, a solo trip that would include a few nights in a hippie relaxed kinda village where you can sling your hammock around some trees and enjoy the surrounding jungle, crossing the Mexico-Guatemala border per boat on a jungle river, visiting Tikal on the way, and then make it to Caye Caulker, to enjoy a week of diving and relaxing on the beach of that Belizean island.

Those plans have changed a bit though. Three other people from our travel group are going to Belize as well, also to dive and relax, but chose to take a direct bus to Chetumal due to time limits and stuff. I decided to join them for that direct ride to Belize, so we can buddy each other while diving and just have a frikking great time together. With a little luck Ill be enjoying the sun at Caye Caulker in about 24 hours! Looking forward to the sun too, becuase San Cristobal de las Casas is by far the coldest, rainiest and windiest place Ive been to in Mexico so far.

Three weeks on the road today (hurray!), and leaving Mexico. Adios, its been great. Five weeks left to explore Belize and Guatemala! Ill be taking it really easy from now on :)
