Travel stories
Travel stories are great. I love reading about other people’s adventures on the road. The most bizarre, funniest, scariest, coolest and most inspiring things can happen abroad, and I’ve always though it to be a waste not to share those experiences. When I travel, I not only keep a travel journal but I also work out loads of ideas for stories which I later on want to write. Unfortunately only a few of those have materialized up until now, and I still have loads of half-written stories written on paper and sitting on my laptop’s hard disk. Luckily, other people are more consistent in travel writing than I am, as can be seen in the Travel Stories section on World Backpackers. Needless to say I was happily surprised when I found this gem of a story in my mailbox a few days ago. I almost fell off my chair laughing.
